Goal
The Minnesota Council of Airports (MCOA) is an organization providing member airports support services to enhance their airports and aviation services. The Board has established an academic scholarship for students studying aviation-related careers, as determined each year by the Professional Development Committee, and is currently enrolled at a Minnesota technical school, college, or university or who is a Minnesota resident and is enrolled at an approved school program outside the state. The Minnesota Council of Airports’ goal is to provide one or more scholarship(s) each year to a full-time student who is actively pursuing a degree or certificate in an aviation-related program. The scholarship application is a one-time award of $2,000 dollars. The scholarship applications that are submitted will be evaluated and selected by the Professional Development Committee with the concurrence of the Board.
Scholarship Sponsorship Levels
Sponsorships are the primary funding mechanism for the MCOA academic scholarship(s). MCOA can supplement funding, as approved by the board, to meet scholarship goals. There are five sponsorship levels with varying levels of recognition for your company, organization, or airport. Student scholarship sponsorships in any amount are welcomed and appreciated.
Bronze - $250
- Name and sponsorship level listed on the MCOA website.
Silver - $500
- Name and sponsorship level listed on the MCOA website.
- Name, logo, and sponsorship level listed on the Minnesota Airports Conference program and sign.
Gold - $750
- Name and sponsorship level listed on the MCOA website.
- Name, logo, and sponsorship level listed on the Minnesota Airports Conference program and sign.
- Mention at the scholarship presentation at the Minnesota Airports Conference.
Platinum - $1,000
- Name and sponsorship level listed on the MCOA website.
- Name, logo, and sponsorship level listed on the Minnesota Airports Conference program and sign.
- Mention at the scholarship presentation at the Minnesota Airports Conference.
- Name and logo featured on the screen during the scholarship presentation.
Diamond - $1,250+
